I always wanted to be a teacher. I have a masters degree in education and several years of teaching experience. After maternity leave with my first son-- my sweet new baby boy became very sick. He was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called Severe Congenital Neutropenia. I couldn't return to work. It seems like every teacher has a "side hustle" -photography was mine. After my little guy got sick, it was time for me to turn my photography into my full time gig so I could be with my son more while still working-- with a little bit more flexibility. Since 2016, I've been running a successful full time business. My son is doing great and another little boy and sweet baby girl keeping us busy as well. (3 kids is no joke!!) The universe has a funny way of making sure you do what you are made to do. I wouldn't change a thing. Because of what our little family has been through, I love giving my clients tangible captured moments.

A custom photo session is unique to your family. I make each session experience as effortless as possible and help guide you through the process as much as you need. I send out a session prep guide to help you through the everything as well. Each session is different. I take into account your needs and wants, location, outfits, style, feel, and ultimately the end product. I also send out a brief questionnaire to understand your family and note those "must have" shots.
Sessions are laid back and fun. From there, I spend several hours editing and retouching your photos to perfection. I cull out any blinks, awkward faces, or imperfections. Easy. All you need to do is get excited.
